December 14, 2008: Pad Thai Christmas, a new holiday song by Drew and Steven Silverstein, will premiere at the Arts and Artists' Holiday Songbook concert at Lincoln Center on Sunday, December 14, at 2:30pm.  Click for playbill article.

November 14, 2008:
The Princeton Concert Choir performed Drew's Princeton Football Songs Medley at a concert in historic Woolsey Hall in New Haven, CT.  The group also performed the piece in a concert in Richardson Auditorium in Princeton on October 24.

October 24, 2008:
Drew and Scott will receive the 2008 New York Musical Theater Festival Award for Excellence in Writing (lyrics) at the NYMF Awards Gala on November 2 at the Hudson Guild Theater.  Read teh Broadwayworld article HERE and the playbill.com article HERE.  They also received honorable mention for the Excellence in Writing (music) award.

September 25, 2008:
COLLEGE at NYMF sells out and extends.  After selling out its entire run, a performance has been added on October 3 at 10:30pm.  Read the playbill article HERE.  Tickets for the added show are available at www.nymf.org

September 12, 2008:
The Princeton Triangle Club will perform Orange Bubble for the incoming class of 2012 as part of their All's Well That Ends '12 Show.  Performances are September 12 at 7:30 and 10pm at the Tony Award-winning McCarter Theater.  This marks the 5th consecutive year that Orange Bubble has been included in the Freshman Week show.

June 28, 2008:
COLLEGE extends at the Hippodrome in Gainesville for two additional weeks, and will now play through July 13.  The show also now has a facebook fanpage available by clicking HERE.  Please become a fan! 

June 23, 2008: COLLEGE The Musical is announced as an "invited work" in the 2008 New York Musical Theatre Festival!  It will open September 18 at the ATA Chernuchin Theater on 54th Street.  For the Playbill announcement click HERE, and for the official website of the NYMF production, click HERE.

May 20, 2008: Drew will present a showcase of his songs at the BMI Workshop on May 20 at 5:30pm.  The program will feature Elizabeth Daniels (White Widow), Jesse JP Johnson (Glory Days, Altar Boyz), Emily Klein (Parade) and Tim Rosser on piano.

April 28, 2008:
Drew and Scott will play a benefit concert for the American Story Project Theater Company Monday, May 5, at 599 Lexington Avenue.  Cocktails begin at 7, with the performance at 8pm.  For tickets, email info@americanstoryproject.com

April 10, 2008:
The Hippodrome State Theater in Gainesville, FL announces that it will present COLLEGE The Musical for a 31 performance run beginning June 6!  For more information, visit the Hippodrome Website.

March 21, 2008:
The music video of "You're Good Enough for Now" from COLLEGE The Musical wins the MTVu video of the week!  The video was directed and edited by Casey Ford Alexander, and will air soon.  The video, as well as an MTV promotion of it, is available at HERE.

March 19, 2008
: Drew will music direct this week's Rapid Response Team show at the Bowery Poetry Club (308 Bowery Ave; 212 - 614 - 0505) and will provide music for 2 numbers.  The show is Sunday, March 23, and tickets are$10.

February 23 - 26, 2008

: Drew and Marshall Pailet will collaborate on a new 10 minute musical to premiere as part of Prospect Theater Company's "Museum Pieces," February 23 - 26 at the West End Theatre.  For more information, click HERE.

December 1, 2007
: Drew and Steven Silverstein's Christmas song will be performed by Regina O'Malley (Blood Brothers) at the Donnell Library Christmas Concert, produced by John Znidarsic.  The event will take place on December 16, at 2:30pm, at 20 West 53rd Street.  Click HERE for the program flier.

: COLLEGE: The Musical wins the 2007 Pace New Musicals Competition!  The show will be workshopped at Pace University and then presented for a 5-performance run January 22 - 26, 2008 in Manhattan.  More information to come.

September 14, 2007:
"Orange Bubble" returns to Princeton stages.  The Princeton Triangle Club will perform the song for the incoming freshman class as part of its frosh week show, and the Princeton University Concert Choir (Glee Club) will perform it October 19 at Harvard University (Sanders Theater) and November 9 at Princeton University (Richardson Auditorium).

August 8, 2007:
Drew and Scott performed a set at the American Musical Project at the Abingdon Theater Complex. Their songs were performed by: Emily Klein (Parade); Ricky Ashley (13 in Los Angeles); Juliana Ashley-Hansen and Adam Shorsten of NBC's Grease, You're The One That I Want, and Casey Ford Alexander (Andrew Lippa's A Little Princess).  Other featured songwriters included Michael Mitnick, Andrew Heyman, and William Busbee. June 23, 2007
: Two more concerts announced: Drew, Scott, and friends will perform at the second Hooked concert at The Zipper Theater (336 West 37th Street) at 8pm on July 2, and Drew and Scott will be featured at The American Musical Project, August 8 at the Abington Theater Complex (312 West 36th Street).

June 11, 2007
:  Drew and collaborator Simon Gray presented a new short musical, Letters from a Lost Doll,  at the BMI Workshop on June 11.  The piece tells the story of Franz Kafka's last literary effort, a series of letters composed by a little girl's lost doll, and his quest to find a "happy ending" as he nears the end of his life.  The performance featured Jason Howard as Kafka and Jenan Mehri Jacobson as Lizaveta.. 

May 23, 2007
: Drew will perform as part of "Hooked: An Evening of Songs from the BMI Musical Theatre Workshop" at the Zipper Theater, Sunday, June 3.  Doors open at 6:15, showtime is 7:00.  $5 cover, tickets at the door only.  The Zipper Theater is at 336 West 37th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues.  (212) 563 - 0480.

March 18, 2007
:  Reading announced for COLLEGE in New York.  The presentations will take place Thursday, May 3 at 1pm and 4pm in the Prospect Ballroom, at the Princeton Club of New York.  The reading will be directed by Jeremy Dobrish, music directed by Mark Hartman (Avenue Q), and the casting director will be Mark Simon (LoveMusik, Parade). More information coming soon.

February 24 - 26, 2007
:  The Zodiaque Dance Company presents highlights from COLLEGE.  PICTURES NOW AVAILABLE:    All Together, All Alone;  Halo;  Alcoholeluia; Curtain Call (full company).  Also, on February 24, the Princeton Triangle Club performed "Orange Bubble" at Richardson Auditorium as part of the "This is Princeton" concert.

November 26, 2006
:  Broadway's Leah Horowitz (Fiddler on the Roof, Woman in White) will perform a new piece by Drew and Steven Silverstein as part of the cabaret "The Greatest Holiday Musical...EVER."  The show is being produced at Don't Tell Mama (343 W 46th Street) by Lively Arts Productions.  Shows are: Dec 14, 8:30 & 11, Dec 15, 8:30 & 11, Dec 16, 5:30 and Dec 18, 9:30. October 6, 2006:
The University at Buffalo's prestigious Zodiaque Dance Company announces that it will perform a new piece of concert dance to a medley from Fornarola & Elmegreen's "College." The piece will premiere February  23-25 at the Drama Theater in the Buffalo Center for the Arts, and will feature singers from the Musical Theater department.  Zodiaque Press Release

September 14, 2006:
"Orange Bubble" returns to Princeton stages.  Drew's 2003 tribute to Princeton was performed again by the Triangle Club on September 14 (McCarter Theater) for all members of the incoming Freshman class, and will be sung by the Princeton University Concert Choir on October 20th (Richardson Auditorium, Princeton) and November 10th (Battel Chapel, Yale) as part of the annual"football concerts."  Drew's arrangements of Princeton's traditional football songs will also be performed.  Audio clips in the "Music" section.

August 24-27, 2006
:  Four of Drew's songs, and one of his comedy sketches, will be presented at the NY International Fringe Festival as part of the Princeton Triangle Club's show "The Impotence of Being Earnest."  Click for more info.

May 19, 2006:
The New York Theatrical Community Chorus presented "What's Your Problem?", a choral piece by Drew and collaborator Steven Silverstein, as part of their spring concert.  More information, and a recording of the performance, are available at Steven's website.

May 15, 2006:
Drew (Music & Lyrics) and Scott Elmegreen (Book) present a ten minute musical, "Dinner," at the BMI Workshop in New York.  The piece featured singers Aimee Mungovan, Sarah Vander-Ploeg, and Sean Effinger-Dean, and pianist Jonathan Comisar.

April 20-29, 2006:
Princeton's Theatre Intime theater company presents the premeire of COLLEGE: the musical by Drew and Scott Elmegreen, at Hamilton Murray Theater.  The sold-out, seven-performance run was directed by Ben Mains, choreographed by Molly Ephraim, and featured a cast of 16.  Pictures are posted, and reviews and sound clips from opening night are coming soon!
